Hi this is my homepage. It's all aboutweight loss and fitness. I need to lose weight for my upcoming vacation and that is why I started this site.
Now I'm not a weight loss expert nor am I so buff I feel like putting a semi naked picture of myself on this page. I'm just an ordinary man who needs a little motivation to drop the extra pounds I'm currently carrying.

In order to help me with my motivation I've written a few articles on what I have found out and I have also reviewed a few health and fitness sites. As I have already aluded to this site is dedicated to weight loss and how to lose weight fast. However when I talk about weight loss I really mean fat loss. I don't really care how much I tip the scales at but I really care about how much body fat I'm carrying. Tjis is the excess weight I'm trying to lose.
Did you know that one pound of fat contains 3500 calories. This means that in order to lose one pound of fat a week you need to adjust your calorie count by 3500 calories or 500 calories a day. There are two ways to do this. You can either reduced your calorie intake by 500 or you can use up 500 calories by exercising more. Of course if you are really serious about weight lossyou will want to do both.
There has been a lot of web chatter about how this pill will speed up your metabolism or that super food will help you lose weight fastbut lets face it the only way to lose weight fastand keep it off is to change your lifestyle, get off your butt and do the work that is required.
If you are like me, you may want to lose weight fast but lack the dedication or just don't have the time to exercise regularly. I sympathise but really both of us are decieving ourselves. I know hand on heart that I could make an hour to go to the gym or at least do a few body weight exercises (press ups, squats, lunges etc.)at home each day. what I lack is the motivation tolose weight. So in order for me to motivate myself to lose weight fast I have booked a summer holiday at the beautiful resort of The Body Holiday in St. Lucia. I went there last year and believe me all the folks there are very serious about weight loss. So the first question you need to ask yourself is "what will motivate me to lose weight fast?"
I also lack direction and that is why I started this website about weight loss. I needed to know how to plan my weight loss, what were reasonable goals tolose weight fast and how should I go about it. I have tried to answer some of these questions in my articles. Please feel free to read them.
I also needed a system or method that I could follow. I have bought a few ebooks andweight loss methods . The one I chose to follow in the end was this one. There are many diet and weight loss books and systems out there (you will find a few advertised on this page) my advice is to pick one that works for you and stick to it.
